But I want it! Shaped Swimsuit from Land's End

Now I might be getting a little a head of the seasons here (I'm still freezing in my sweaters and scarves) but this "structured" swimsuit really appeals to me! I like that it's a halter, that it has underwire (and the option of adding padding to your chest ;D), and that it has this classic look.

I don't swim much, so what happens is that I buy a swimsuit and it lasts me years. And by years I don't mean a handful, I mean years and years.  So I rationalize that spending $29 on a flattering swimsuit will pay itself back in a few years (haha).

However I don't understand the sizing. Is "4" seriously the smallest size they have? O.o; And what is that equivalent to?  And what do they mean by short torso? How do I know if I have a short torso? What is a regular torso length?  What about people with long torsos? o.O; 

Any ideas?

I'm debating over this purse...after you apply discount code NEWYEARS25 the price goes down to $39--which is a very reasonable price! Even for me!


What do you think? I prefer garnet red...I think the fuchsia will be hard to match...

But I want it! J Brand black jeans!

J Brand 910 Super Skinny Jeans

I tried on this pair at Neiman Marcus outlet on Sunday and I liked them...I really liked the price (50% off $99 = $44.50 + tax)--which is waaaaaay better than the normal $160 price tag.  I've been dreaming of the perfect black denim, but this pair, though it fit well, didn't scream LOVE (the way I imagine it could...?)

I tried on an even better pair about a week ago at a boutique....It was also J Brand, but the inseam was about 29" (too short for me, but I'll take what I can), the price was about $40-50, and the material was oh so soft. I have no idea what it was called (must be from an older collection) but I assure you the only reason I didn't get it was because the size was a few numbers too large. They fit me, yeah, but I was bloated from PMS at the time and will they fit me after a few washes?

Those of you who have purchased J brand before, help me; do the sizes run small or large? Do they stretch a lot? Should I go one size down or buy the perfect fit? The ladies at the boutique couldn't help me so I let go the most wonderful pair of black jeans ever.

Shopping for winter at Forever 21

I was looking for that white dress and while I tried looking on Forever 21 there were some pieces I could not ignore (and now I want them...):

Satin top $27.80
This looks very blue to me, but if you say so F21. Actually last winter I bought something similar for my MIL, it's more figure-flattering in that it's not so wide that you have to put up your arm just to look thinner. Obviously I'm going to have to find another brand with the same thing.
Interesting Neckline-Top $19.80

Puffy-sleeved cardigan! $7.50

I'm a big fan of cable knit cardigans/sweaters, and I wore them a lot as a kid, but I just think since they are chunky they just make you look chunky-er. Not flattering. But I still want one....so I actually ordered a sweater and I'll let you know how that goes...

But I want it! JAPONESQUE tools

I was browsing All Cosmetics Wholesale the other day and I noticed a new brand: JAPONESQUE that I had not heard of before.  The store mostly only has tools, but I see that the brand also has make up products which you can view on their online catalog.

How cool is it that it comes in a little box? And now the price is about the same as any other kabuki!

I just think this brush is really cute :) That it has a bamboo handle and goat hair just makes it better!
So pretty...It looks really functional in that it seems to fit everything in an organized manner and not look chunky/ugly when dangling on your arm.
Although I am VERY happy with my Shu Uemura eyelash curler (totally worth it, especially if you get it on sale like me), I sometimes do feel that it's hard to get the edges of my eyelashes. I think maybe it's the shape of the curler that doesn't match the shape of my eyes? I'm guessing it's hard to find one that does match, so it would be easier to just get something like this...What do you think?
As far as I can tell the brand looks good, I saw on Amazon that they make pricey make up storage cases, I guess for professional use, that look really cool. If you have tried this brand please let me know what you think of it!

But I want it! Eye massager!

I was going to mention this earlier but I'm glad I remembered it now! I went to Brookstone on Saturday (checked out sales, remember?) and I fell in love with this eye massage-r!

If you're prone to migraines like me, or if your shoulders ache because your eyes are tired (trying pressing on your eyes; if it hurts they are tired!) then you'll LOVE this!  It gently massages your temples and the acupressure spots around your eyes and releases tension.  It has 3 programs and I tried them all and they were great! I felt so much better, I could see better, and it was just refreshing.

It's a little pricey at $60 but for my well-being I plan on investing one in the future!

Do you recommend any anti-tension, anti-stress products? I'm all tied up like a pretzel x.x;

California Dreaming~~

One of the things I've found myself doing lately is dreaming of a new job, of more income, and most importantly: what I can buy with that new income.  Of course I have credit card bills to pay and I plan on saving more money (maybe opening a retirement account sometime soon), but there are certain things that I want now that I simply cannot afford to buy.  Since I've been job hunting for a month already (it's been going well enough, been contacted by a handful of companies for interviews) such dreams are kind of what keep me going.  Because really, job hunting is not fun; going to interviews is stressful, and worrying about whether a job is at my reach is definitely the worst. So as another week has gone by I'm going to keep dreaming to maintain morale, and in case if you are in need of a positivity boost for the weekend I thought I would share!

When I find a new job... (you can replace with a bonus, or whatever you like)

- I'm going to buy myself a Nikon DS camera
- Invest in a vintage luxury purse (like Gucci)
- Go on a 3-10 cruise with yobo~!
- Buy a new cell phone! (mine keeps dying, this morning too it just shut down on it's own for no reason)

- Finally make that (romantic) trip to Catalina Island with just yobo and I.

But I want it! Studded pumps!

I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm not into studs. I seem to have a hard time pulling off the "tough girl" biker look so I stay away from studs except maybe for clubbing occasions (not often). However, after seeing this post on Brian Atwood Look 4 Less I've decided I want this:

It comes in several colors (see here) and retails for $29.99 (but there's s/h T-T)!

Have you been embracing the stud trend? What do you think about that clear part in the middle?
I'm thinking I need to scrub my feet harder...
